Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device
Appoint does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All calendar events, contacts, and settings remain on your device.
Calendar data
Appoint accesses your calendar through Apple's EventKit framework. Your events are stored and synced by iOS itself, using whatever services you've configured (iCloud, Google Calendar, Exchange, etc.). Appoint does not have its own sync mechanism and never sends your calendar data anywhere.
The Appoint home screen widget accesses your calendar data through a shared app group to display upcoming events. This data never leaves your device.
Contacts
If you grant permission, Appoint reads your contacts to provide smart suggestions and link names in events to contact details. Contact data is accessed locally on your device and is never transmitted externally. This permission is entirely optional.
Autocompletion & suggestions
Appoint learns from your past events to suggest titles, locations, and times. This data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with any third party.
Analytics & tracking
Appoint does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. No usage data is collected by the developer.
Apple
Apple may collect anonymized crash logs and basic diagnostics through the App Store, subject to your device settings. This is managed by Apple, not by Appoint. You can control this in your device settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Third-party services
Appoint can open map and navigation apps (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Sygic, and others) when you tap on an event location. This is done via standard iOS URL schemes — no data is shared until you explicitly tap to navigate.
Your rights
Since Appoint does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no data to access, export, or delete on our end. All your data is stored locally on your device and in any cloud services you have configured through iOS (such as iCloud or Google). You can manage or delete this data directly through your device settings or those services.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since Appoint does not collect user data, we have no way to notify you directly — we recommend checking this page occasionally.
